In crucifixion the sentenced criminal, in nailed through his hands and feet to a cross. Hanging by his limbs, breathing is nearly impossible which plays a major role in the dying process. His legs can be broken to speed up the process.
In this blog series (please see video and blog links below), I want to talk specifically about the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth from Judea during the Roman occupation of Israel in the first century. We will begin with prophecies written hundreds of years before the birth of Christ, and from there we will look at the crucifixion in the gospels and finish with what the crucifixion truly is light of faith. This is divided into three separate videos and three separate blogs.
